Pseudoephedrine Recording

From 1st April 2006, all pseudoephedrine liquid products containing more than 800mg of pseudoephedrine and all solid dose products containing more than 720 mg of pseudoephedrine will be Schedule 4 (Prescription Only).

Products containing lesser amounts of pseudoephedrine will remain Schedule 3R

New regulations have now been issued that make it mandatory for any pharmacy wishing to make pseudoephedrine-containing products available for sale, to use an electronic records management process. The regulation commences on 23 March 2016.
