Uncomplicated UTI

This webpage is dedicated to providing comprehensive information and valuable resources on the management of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs). Here, you will find guidelines, best practices, and tools to support your role in delivering effective care to patients with uncomplicated UTIs.

To participate in this service:

Pharmacists must:

Be registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no conditions or undertakings which may limit delivery of clinical services directly to patients and have completed:

  • Australasian College of Pharmacy Uncomplicated Cystitis Treatment - Pharmacist Training; or
  • Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Managing uncomplicated cystitis; or
  • Training module(s) that have been approved by the Chief Health Officers
Guild proprietor members are entitled to complimentary Australasian College of Pharmacy membership which includes access to Uncomplicated Cystitis Treatment - Pharmacist Training.

This course provides training to support the supply of acute cystitis treatment, with specific information relating to the Northern Territory. This training course should take approximately 3 hours of your time to complete.
