PA CONFERENCE

Since 2000, the Pharmacy Assistant Conference (PA) has offered valuable training and education to pharmacy assistants at all levels. PA2024 will be held 5 - 7 September 2024 at Hyatt Regency in Sydney.

Pharmacy Connect Conference

This two-day event hosted in Sydney was developed to meet the need for an industry conference in the second half of the year. The conference will be held 5 - 7 September 2024 at Hyatt Regency in Sydney.

Pharmacy of the Year Award

This award acknowledges the most innovative and adaptable pharmacy businesses in Australia that strive to provide patients and the community with comprehensive, holistic health services, medication advice, management and safety using a culture of innovation, and continued business and professional development. 

Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award

The Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award is the premier award for Australian pharmacy assistants, recognising and celebrating the ‘best of the best’ in community pharmacy.  Each year, we search Australia-wide to find the most skilled and knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to share their experiences and passion for the industry.  The PATY award runs annually, opening in March with the winner announced at the PA Conference in October.

Guild Intern of the Year Award

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has partnered with MIMS Australia in a search to find the MIMS / Guild Intern of the Year! The winner will receive a travel and educational scholarship to the value of $4,500 courtesy of MIMS Australia to pursue their pharmacy career in Australia or overseas.  The winner will also receive flights and accommodation to the APP Conference on the Gold Coast.
