Australia’s largest pharmacy conference and trade exhibition, the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference (APP), will be held on 20-22 March 2025 on the Gold Coast. This three-day event brings together 7,000 proprietors, pharmacists, interns, students, pharmacy assistants and industry professionals for networking, upskilling and professional development.
Hosted in Sydney, this event offers a three-day education program including pre-conference workshops, a 70-stand trade exhibition, Welcome Reception and Cocktail Party. This year’s conference will be held 3-5 September at Hyatt Regency Sydney and will feature a Pharmacy Assistant Stream.

Each year, we search Australia-wide to find the most skilled and knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to share their experiences and passion for the industry. The PATY award runs annually, opening in March with the winner announced at the Pharmacy Connect Conference in the second half of the year.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has partnered with MIMS Australia in a search to find the MIMS / Guild Intern of the Year! The winner will receive a travel and educational scholarship to the value of $4,500 courtesy of MIMS Australia to pursue their pharmacy career in Australia or overseas. The winner will also receive flights and accommodation to the APP Conference on the Gold Coast.
