Queensland vaccinations at a glance
This booklet has been created to assist pharmacists who provide immunisation services to identify, at a glance, which vaccinations may be indicated based on fundamental characteristics of the patient, such as age, if they are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, or if they are pregnant. Based on this information, the resource also assists pharmacists to identify possible funding available for vaccination and administration.
All community pharmacies can apply to become NIP vaccination providers and receive federal remuneration.
The 2025 Free Flu Vaccination Program will be offered from 1 March 2025 to 30 September 2025.
The Guild Corporate Vaccination Program is a Guild-facilitated vaccination program open to Guild member pharmacies.
The Queensland MenB Vaccination Program makes menB vaccines free for some groups in addition to NIP

Pharmacists are authorised to administer vaccinations outside of community pharmacy.
