A Guild guide has been created to help pharmacists understand the specific requirements for consultation areas to administer vaccines in community pharmacies. The requirements table is available to members here.

As per the COVID-19 vaccination SASA, pharmacist immunisers wishing to administer COVID-19 Vaccines must complete approved COVID-19 vaccination training prior to administration of COVID-19 vaccines. The SA Health COVID-19 Immunisation Training is approved and meets the requirements of the SASA. Pharmacists may self-record CPD points upon successful completion of the training.
