Infection Control Skill Set (HLTSS00065) - Face-to-Face Workshops
Fast track your learning with this fully-funded face-to-face four-hour workshop.
Participants will learn skills including:
- Hand hygiene practices
- Effective surface cleaning
- Use of personal protective equipment
- Disposal of contaminated waste
- Hazard identification, control and reporting
- Appropriate protocols and responses in the event of an incident
- Knowledge regarding the basis of infection and transmission
No further workshops are scheduled at the moment.
This fully-funded training is free for pharmacists and all pharmacy staff.
You will need to provide and have on hand a copy of your:
- Driver's licence or Proof of Age with address
- Medicare card
- Contract or letter of employment (template letters are available here)
- USI number (Unique Student Identifier) – Link provided on enrolment page
Registered participants will be advised of pre-reading and activities to be completed prior to the session (approximately 1 hour).
Pharmacists can self-record between 20-40 unaccredited Group 2 CPD points for this training, depending on the time taken.
