The Guild’s Career Paths Report is an essential resource for planning out your pharmacy career. It explores career pathways for community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and industrial pharmacy; and includes data from a range of sources including federal and state awards, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Australian Pharmacy Council and Jobs and Skills Australia.

APP

APP is the largest pharmacy conference in the southern hemisphere, attracting up to 7,000 delegates to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre for networking, upskilling and professional development each year. Students enjoy FREE access to the trade exhibition, Welcome Reception and discounted registration fees. ACP interns attend for free.

Pharmacy Connect

Pharmacy Connect is an annual industry conference in the second half of the year. The Sydney-based conference features a two-and-a-half day education program, trade exhibition, Welcome Reception and Cocktail Party. Students and interns enjoy FREE entry to the conference and a dedicated half-day Student Summit.

Training & Development

GuildEd assists pharmacists, interns and students meet their professional development and education needs through CPD approved education, the CPD learning plan and online training options.

As of December 2023, the Australasian College of Pharmacy will manage and deliver the Intern Training Program.

Providing a balance of clinical and pharmacy practice knowledge, along with the best exam preparation, the College Intern Training Program (College ITP) aims to ensure our interns are the most employable newly-registered pharmacists in Australia.
