The Guild Pharmacy of the Year Awards honour pharmacies that exemplify excellence in several important areas: Business Management, Community Engagement, Professional Innovation and Harm Minimisation. The Awards acknowledge achievement and seek to inspire others in the sector to strive for similar excellence by identifying highly motivated and progressive pharmacy practices and pharmacies that stand out in their delivery of innovative and effective health care.
National President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Professor Trent Twomey, encouraged everyone to nominate their favourite community pharmacy.
“This Award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of community pharmacy, and a valuable opportunity to share best practices to inspire the industry. We encourage members of the public and all eligible pharmacies to submit their nominations and join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements in community pharmacy,” Professor Twomey said.
“It takes a great deal of hard work, experience and care to operate a successful pharmacy. This Award recognises the best of the best in the profession.
The category winners and the overall winner of Guild Pharmacy of the Year will be announced at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference, held on 20-22 March 2025 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
