Conference Convenor Kos Sclavos AM is delighted to announce that pharmacist Jeff Harrell, National President of the USA based National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), will be a featured speaker at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP2025).
“We are thrilled to welcome Jeff Harrell to APP2025. As a global leader in community pharmacy, Jeff brings invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities shaping our industry,” said Mr Sclavos. “His expertise in pharmacy innovation and technology, coupled with his dedication to advancing patient care, makes his sessions unmissable.”
The NCPA serves as the sister organisation to The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, representing independent community pharmacies in the United States. Mr Harrell’s presence at APP2025 reflects the strong partnership between the organisations championing community pharmacy.
The Independent Pharmacies of Australia (IPA) Plenary will cover the key topic, ‘How community pharmacy can strengthen its primary care role through precision health.’ Steven Kastrinakis Founder and Managing Director IPA will moderate this key conference panel discussion.
“Jeff’s input is particularly timely as Australian pharmacy expands its role in primary health care. His insights into how precision health can assist pharmacists to play a greater role in primary care will be valuable. The evolving scope of pharmacy practice in the United States will inspire us to embrace innovation and navigate the complexities of our own health care system,” added Mr Kastrinakis.
