With just 100 days to go, excitement is building for the 2025 Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP2025) – the premier event for pharmacy professionals. Taking place on the stunning Gold Coast from 20–22 March 2025, this year’s conference promises to inspire and empower delegates, with pre-conference workshops kicking off on 19 March.
Centred on the theme ‘Unlocking Your Opportunities’, APP2025 reflects the evolving landscape of community pharmacy and equips attendees with tools to embrace innovation and turn ideas into action.

Program highlights
APP2025 officially kicks off with the Opening Plenary, which will reflect on the year’s milestones, outline The Guild’s strategic vision for the coming year, and recognise excellence through awards such as the Pharmacy of the Year and Intern of the Year.
Other standout sessions include:
- Alan Russell Oration: Credentialed Full Scope Pharmacist and CEO of the Alive Pharmacy Group, Georgina Twomey, will reflect on Full Scope of Practice implementation.
- State of the Industry Panel: Hear from industry leaders about current challenges and emerging opportunities in community pharmacy.
- Keynote addresses: Jelena Dokic will share her journey of resilience, and Dr Ben Bravery, the Patient Doctor, will offer insights into patient advocacy.

Workshops and networking
