The inaugural State of the Industry national roadshow is now into its second week with events having been held in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.
The roadshows are a joint initiative between the Pharmacy Guild, Pharmaceutical Defence Ltd (PDL), and the Australasian College of Pharmacy.
All events have been well attended by pharmacists and have attracted industry leaders, and politicians, including in Hobart the Premier, Jeremy Rockliff.
Attendees have commented on how worthwhile they have been and have welcomed the opportunity to meet face-to-face with leaders from the three organisations, guests and colleagues attending the events.
They have also remarked that the format is informative while giving plenty of time for interaction between speakers and attendees.
The roadshow moves to Adelaide, Darwin and Brisbane this week, and then to Perth next week.
The Canberra event was due to be held on Thursday 22 September. However, due to the National Day of Mourning in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II and subsequent public holiday taking place that day, it has been postponed to Tuesday 11 October.
