The countdown is well and truly on for this year’s APP at the Gold Coast in March and a lot of the talk is just who will be crowned 2023 ‘Guild Pharmacy of the Year’.
It’s one of the biggest highlights of the conference, where you can see the ‘best of the best’ in community pharmacy.
There are six finalists for this year’s sought-after award including:
- Thursday Island Pharmacy, Queensland
- Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater, Western Australia
- Ouyen Pharmacy, Victoria
- Capital Chemist Calwell, ACT
- Wholelife Pharmacy & Health Foods Pease Street, Queensland
- Livelife Pharmacy Cooroy, Queensland
In fact, there was so much interest in the 2023 Guild Pharmacy of the Year that organisers were swamped with nearly 500 nominations across 146 community pharmacies.
The awards recognise excellence in community pharmacy across three categories:
- Excellence in Business Management
- Excellence in Community Engagement
- Excellence in Professional Innovation
