October 31 marks the annual ‘Rattle Ya Bones Day’, an occasion for Australians to gain a better understanding of muscle, bone and joint conditions.
Musculoskeletal Australia organises ‘Rattle Ya Bones Day’ and says this year’s theme is ‘Get informed – Get supported’.
According to Musculoskeletal Australia, one in three of us lives with muscle, bone and joint conditions, so chances are someone close to you, or even yourself has these conditions which number more than 150.
The more we know about these conditions including arthritis, osteoporosis and back pain, the more we are able to help loved ones minimise pain and discomfort to live a better life.
Musculoskeletal Australia says often there are few visible signs someone is suffering from muscle, bone and joint conditions and most people are unaware of the impact these conditions can have on lives.
Which is why it is so important to get involved in ‘Rattle Ya Bones Day’.
