Federal Health Minister Mark Butler will be a guest of honour at the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s Annual Parliamentary Dinner on November 14 at Parliament House.
In making the announcement, Pharmacy Guild National President Professor Trent Twomey said he was delighted Minister Butler has confirmed he will address the dinner.
“This is a sign of our improving relationship with the Federal Government as we negotiate the 8th Community Pharmacy Agreement. Negotiations are constructive, and real progress is being made.
“I thank Minister Butler for graciously accepting our invitation to directly address Pharmacy Guild members.”
It will mark the first time the Minister has addressed Pharmacy Guild members since the APP conference back in March.
The Pharmacy Guild’s Annual Parliamentary Dinner will see community pharmacists, industry leaders, and MPs and Senators from all sides of politics get together to mark the end of the parliamentary year.
