Nominations are now open for the 2024 Outstanding Community Pharmacist Award by the Australian Patients Association (APA).
Members of the public, patients and their families are encouraged to nominate their favourite community pharmacist.
The awards seek to recognise an outstanding pharmacist with excellent pharmacy and medication dispensing skills, strong interpersonal skills and a good reputation with patients.
It will be awarded to a pharmacist who is readily available and easy to contact, as well as being caring, sincere, and empathetic.
The Outstanding Community Pharmacist Award will be presented at the APA’s Annual Awards Dinner and will recognise excellence in the health professions.
The Awards Dinner is being held on July 25 at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
Previous winners of the award include Mr Josh Lee (2021), the late Ms Ruth Parker (2022) and Mr Jason Sammut (2023).
Nominations close on May 15.
