As of 1 October 2024, Guild Learning and Development’s online learning management system has officially been rebranded as the College. To keep using the platform, Guild members will need to join through the College, in line with its updated membership model.
This shift follows the 2022 merger of Guild Learning and Development and Guild Training with the Australasian College of Pharmacy. The merger aligns with the strategic direction of both organisations—the Guild focuses on advocating for community pharmacy, while the College is all about advancing education for Australia’s pharmacy workforce.
Guild Training’s GuildEd platform has been a go-to for expanding pharmacy knowledge, fulfilling professional development, and ticking off QCPP refresher training. This hasn’t changed since the rebrand. Users will still have everything they need in one easy-to-use platform, but now it will come under the College banner.
What does this mean for users?
If users are full College member or subscriber they don’t need to re-join. Pharmacists will not lose their CPD credits and transcript, and access will continue seamlessly after 1 October.
If you’re neither a full member nor a subscriber, you’ll need to join the College to continue using the rebranded GuildEd after 1 October. Visit the College’s website to explore membership options and see how it can support your professional growth.
Whether you're continuing your journey or just starting, the rebranded GuildEd will keep providing all the tools you need for CPD, QCPP refresher training, and expanding your pharmacy expertise.
