Tasmania’s Complete Care Pharmacy in Rosny Park has been named the 2025 Guild Pharmacy of the Year, recognised for its commitment to patient-centred care, innovation, and outstanding service.
The announcement was made yesterday at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP2025) on the Gold Coast, where Prime Minister Anthony Albanese attended the opening ceremony and congratulated the winners. The awards celebrate excellence in community pharmacy and the role pharmacists play in delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare.
Staff at Complete Care Pharmacy celebrating their win
Since acquiring the pharmacy in 2019, owners Kristina Fox, Julie Sorrentino, Monique Licht and Damian Scott have worked to redefine the model of community pharmacy. Their approach focuses on addressing healthcare gaps and delivering personalised care through a purpose-built, patient-friendly environment.
Traditional pharmacy layouts have been transformed. Consultations now take place in private pharmacist pods or clinic rooms rather than on the shop floor, allowing for discreet and meaningful conversations. The pharmacy also features triage desks, production spaces, and clinic rooms used by allied health professionals, such as diabetes educators and nurse practitioners.
Complete Care Pharmacy has also developed a custom digital workflow system called Excipient, enabling the team to manage clinical tasks and prescriptions efficiently. The system integrates with their dispensing software and supports seamless patient care across services such as compounding, vaccinations, minor ailments, and medication dispensing.
The pharmacy offers a range of specialised services tailored to local needs—including wound care, IVF support, men’s health, plant-based medicine consultations, and NDIS services—and partners with a nurse practitioner who provides in-person and after-hours telehealth consultations.

Guild National Councillor and Award Judge Nick Panayiaris praised Complete Care Pharmacy for setting a new benchmark in the profession.
“The Guild Pharmacy of the Year winners exemplify the very best of community pharmacy—exceeding and not just meeting expectations,” he said. “Complete Care Pharmacy’s model goes beyond traditional dispensing services by focusing on improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience for the community.”
The pharmacy also received the award for Excellence in Professional Innovation, one of four category awards presented.
