Now in its 19th year, PATY is Australia’s most prestigious award for pharmacy assistants, celebrating excellence in customer service, leadership, and professional development.
Alison Hope, PATY Award Judge and General Manager of Education and Training for the Australasian College of Pharmacy, encourages people to nominate a deserving pharmacy assistant before the deadline.
“Pharmacy assistants are the heart of community pharmacy, delivering exceptional care and support to customers every day,” Ms Hope said.
“If you know a pharmacy assistant who excels in their role, take a moment to nominate them — it’s a small gesture that can have a big impact.”
The national winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize, a custom glass trophy, and exclusive professional development opportunities, including attendance at the 2026 Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference (APP2026) on the Gold Coast.
